I updated my post. Check it out. I had 2 duplicate window stickers and I didn't notice the PR window stickers because they have FL as the state.

Regarding the paint theory, as I told Snoop, there are 9 Twister Orange and 9 Iconic Silver 2020 Mustangs on the dealer lots in San Antonio. So they are building all the colors right now. No logic as to why they are not building those colors for the GT500...

For some reason, Ford is building GT500's in other colors, just not for USA or Canadian customers.

Update on my build "0761", as of 10/16/19 mine sits for the week of 12/9/19..has been like this for about 2 weeks, and hopefully it gets put back to beginning of Nov..

Why the green/red paint on the wheel centers?

The green/red painted centers signify either a 2 seat GT350 or a 2 seat GT500 car while coming down the FR assembly line.

Back in 2015 Ford decided that they did not want to take the chance of damaging CF wheels for any R models coming down their FRAP therefore they sent all of the 2 seat R models and now the 2 seat GT500 CFTP cars are sent down the assembly line with traditional painted aluminum wheel centers after which time the Mod Shop will take the aluminum wheels off and will then install the CF wheels, wing and back seat delete.

Still aggravated, the PR cars are retail yes? None ordered before me, none originally scheduled ahead of me.


As for the gt350 and new colors, that tells me this is a coverup from Ford. Maybe not cover up, but easy excuse for something else. We with the good colors just got screwed.

Something else delayed it, and by making it about colors, allowed them to partition color builds as they did, and provide a story.
