Ok so before anyone goes down a dark hole this thread is meant for fun and to laugh at ourselves. If you dont have a sense of humor might want to stay away :)

So after reading lots of threads I started thinking what would a mustang built by Ford with the input of the community look like and how would it run?

If you read threads on oil weight and torque specs and gas usage you will kinda see what I mean. I imagine a car that has 700 hp and runs on 7 types of oil, 2 tires sizes, only uses 108 octane fuel and has varying degrees of bolt torque LOL. The whole thing is held together with 2 way tape and there is always one guy on the team who just tells you his credentials every time you ask him a question.

God knows I have had my input on these topics ( and sounded like an idiot a few time). What yall think? Think we can make a better mustang then ford :)

I think my car would have aero bits on it fins and things...

It would have a gas pedal that never went to 100% no matter how far you press it...that way every race would be at part throttle!

If we start with the transmission this thread will devolve quickly. How about a 10 gear manual?

You'd have to start with the word/concept of "build".

Seriously, I can't stand that word. You're not "building" the car. Ford did that. You're modifying the car to your tastes and money.

Of course the car would be a 5.2L FPC Ecoboost with a turbo-supercharger, a 10SPD manual CVT, wrapped in 84 different colors, and be a California Bullet HP Shelby 3000 model.

We could build it but it would never run. Why you ask? No one would agree as to what kind of gas to put in it.

I think it should have the 7.5 liter engine with twin Whipples and an EcoBoost engine to drive the Whipples, I'm 50% certain this would work, in theory.

So would look like a tractor pull tractor? Good idea 2 superchargers with a second engine to drive the superchargers. Could be a front /rear engine car at same time. Take that new corvette.

Well, we'll have to make room the 12,748 lb-ft of torque from the electric motors that alternately drive the front and/or rear wheels, depending on what type of track you're on.

No keys, just a finger print scanner. (Picture not related)

I Googled "outrageous Mustang". Was not disappointed.
