The first cut is the hardest. Been sitting on this Carters Customs GT4 style hood vent for a while. Lots of stress and worry before and during this process. Now that it’s done I can breathe.
Appreciate all the folks that reached out with pics and words of encouragement like Adam Forestwood, Wes Heath, and Adam Carter. Even more appreciative of my bro Robert Gluckman that was a dick, but motivated me to get it done.
Also got the new Signature Wheel Royal Series SV801 on. 20x11 / 20x11.5 came in at 23/24 lbs.
Car has metal flakes everywhere. I rattle canned the vent black until
I figure out how I want to powder coat it. First wash with the pressure washer left minimal water under the hood. One of the guys on The Gram is a genius and just lays a towel under the hood vent when he washes. Freaking genius idea.
