I found a used 2019 GT350 for sale asking $55k. Advertised as a “pilot production”
The history shows as a Ford Company vehicle on the car fax.
The dash has PP0005
It is Blue with black stripes maybe it was used as a test vehicle as it looks like the car in the motortrend tests.
The dealer paid $49k at auction.
Maybe this was beat up by multiple testing?

Probably. How many miles?

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
Obviously, it does not carry any additional value from a normal production run model. Maybe less if it has been hammered on.

If they offer a full warranty for it, I'd jump on that deal. Maybe haggle down 1 or 2 grand if they will bend a bit, and use that money to buy a second set of wheels/tires for cold weather driving.

There's a strong possibility that it was a press car that spent it's life being passed around between auto journalists, which would prompt me to keep looking.

I'll admit, there's a certain "cool" factor to that, but as others have said we've all read those articles:

"As I was finally able to escape the Big Apple traffic, with the smell of a burnt clutch stinging my nose, the open highway in front of me begged to see that 8,250K redline! Suddenly, as if summoned by my mental desire to make the Voodoo moan, a trust fund baby in an M3 pulled up next to me. Looking back, trying to make that 5th to 2nd downshift was a little too aggressive, and I bounced off the rev limiter as my body strained against the safety belts..."

You get the picture.

There are great deals out there on 2019's that haven't been subjected to 7,500 miles of torture. Add $4K to that $55K and you can put those first 7,500 miles on it yourself as a new owner.

55k for a 2019? what options? that sounds pretty good. especially a cool factor of a PP code. does it count as used? see if they will do CPO and get that extra warranty.

Had new a 16 GT350 and 17 GT350
ugh I hate the leather sport seats
Fred I guess seats are a matter of what you are going to use the car for. I'm a 74 year old fart and had a 16 and then a 17 and made sure they had leather seats since I didn't plan to track mine. These old bones loved the cushy heated/cooled/powered seats. Some of the most comfortable I've ever had in a car.

Kind of like owning a rental car, but all the people who rented it were car people and wanted to hear 8k rpm constantly.
