For the past month I've been getting a knock sensor code on my nguage

I checked around my engine to see if something is loose that light cause false knock.

While I checked I ran the engine and heard a loud clicking soun . I had not heard it before. Looks like it is coming from the throttle body area.
When it clicks my rpms drop about 100rpm . This is with AC off.
First got knock sensor code when I ran Lund flex tune

Included video . Clicks start around 20secconds and clicks about five times in video.

Current mods :
2018 manifold with mmr lockouts
47lbs injectors
Lund e85 tune nguage
Air aid inlet tube with stock air box
Mbrp muffler delete
Magna flow Tru X resonator

My 16' did this all last summer. Some say bad throttle body and replace. Mine actually stopped doing it oddly.

That's odd, almost sounds like the fuse click when you turn the heated/ac seats on.

AC off and I didn't touch seat controls at all.
Also looked around some more and noticed a space between fan and radiator might cause false knock.

I flashed E85 tune and drove all day yesterday. No cel or knock sensor code so far.

Your getting knock that's showing in a datalog or are your getting a CEL regarding knock sensor(didnt know there was one). If your throwing a code about the knock sensor then maybe one of the sensors itself is bad or got disconnected. If your seeing knock in a datalog, how much? Low rpm knock is common even on corn.

Lund turns the fans on at like 196* CHT so if you dont have a 170* Thermostat your fans are on so maybe it's a bearing in the fan or something stuck in there/hitting something.

I'm not saying it's the seats it just sounds like when the fuse clicks for the seats.

I had a similar noise and mine ended up being the TB. In your video, it looks like your purge valve is unplugged and hanging just over the left of the TB. Were you testing it?

Just drove this morning My CEL light came on and nguage code says knock sensor. I did a datalog and knock is at 0 throughout. I dont think it is monitoring knock.
flatline is knock with RPM up/down

not sure how to turn on knock monitoring

couple more pics might be the issue not sure until i datalog again.

What's the code number p*****

You can monitor real time knock on the ngauge, I have an x4 and it's under datalog probably similar on ngauge.

If its throwing a code for it then something's wrong with the sensor or wiring. Have you had the intake mani off before? The knock sensor(theres 2) is right under it and I wonder if it somehow got disconnected/never reconnected. Also maybe one of the sensors just shit the bed.

I'd contact lund and see if they are familiar with this happening to another customer and what they think you should try cause I've never heard it throwing a code

If you can drive on the stock tune I'd flash back to stock and see if the CEL comes back. If it does its probably something to do with the sensor itself.

I went back and forth with 2 tunes and CEL turned off, but comes back on after a day or so. I jumped from FLEX to E85 tunes. I also went to 93 tune and CEL turned on for the same knock sensor.

Have had the mani and tune for almost a year now. Up until a month ago it started with these problems.

Might be purge valve. Going to autozone to get a new one $32 =]

You paid the extra $$ with the lund tune for the aftermarket mani right?

Maybe the wire harness for the knock sensor got caught on something and wear and tear is exposing the wire and its shorting?

See if you can have your buddy take the mani off to check the wire and connection.

P.S. double check the fuses, make sure they are all pushed down, it's a long shot but I've fixed things before that way strangely.

My 2016 GT did this for a while. Replaced the TB and the battery at the same time. One of those two things fixed it.

Did another Datalog, still knock is measuring 0's . No up or down. Something isnt let it monitor knock. Can't seem to figure out how to turn it on .

My TB did the same thing for 2 years. I bought a new one from Tasca and its fixed. As far as your knock sensor issues, maybe you knocked one of the plugs off putting the intake on. Get yourself a $15 depstech wifi borescope on amazon and look under there.
