Take a plastic dish,
pour vinegar in it.
Place a rag in the dish to soak up the vinegar. Leave rag in dish.
Set the dish on the car near where the cat lays. They don't like vinegar.
I put a piece of Painter's tape on the bottom of dish to hold it to the car.
It works for me.......

I have a carport, so the neighbor's cats like my warm truck or my
wife's warm Jeep hood.
I keep the Mustang (and the Sky) downstairs, inside.

You can also spray the ground around the car with vinegar.
You just have to remember to do it.

Portable electric fence with traffic cones. Four cones. Make mount for wire and drop in insulator in hole in top of cone.

Will take a little while for them to learn but after they do you can just put the cones out. No fence.

eh, i live in a mobile home so only option is one of those fab'd metal covers....which i personally think looks like shit and not really a good place to put it at my place. plus they are like 2-4k which im not looking to spend just to fix the cats problem...... and i dont think that would deter them neway
Did you not just spend $40k+ on a car and park it outside a mobile home?? I mean get that cover mate... geeezz. *facepalm

Portable garage?? Lowes, Homedepot, Amazon and other places sell them...

Water cannon works wonders... after they’ve been hit a few times, they’ll get the message.

In all seriousness, get rid of the cats. Our make them inside cats. Sadly when we got our first convertible our cat had to go. Sounds cruel, but I would have killed it if I had to replace a top from her trying to sharping her claws on it. Now, we have a garage and one dog and a raccoon.

That damn wife mod. I made sure not to install that one. I’d have that that one removed. Replace with a gf mod and supercharger.

Go down to your local cafe and ask if they'll give you the used up coffee grounds.

Get as much if it as you can fit in a garbage bag, then sprinkle it around your property and wait. The little fuckers will disappear quicker than a teenage dirtbags manners.

Nothing you can do about cats whether you have a garage or not they will jump onto the car. Fortunately, they won't really use their claws and scratch it up so you should be fine unless it's a new kitten that can't jump as high and uses their claws as leverage to get to the top.

I keep the car in the garage and we keep the garage door closed if the cat is outside. Since you don't have a garage, you could stop allowing your cats to go outside. That's probably the only way you will keep the cats off your car completely.

How do I know I'm not awake? I read this and was confused as to why OP was asking how to keep his catalytic converters away from the car.

Hoooo boy

If you love your cats, keep them indoors. Cats are MUCH safer and your problem solved.
