Yep, that strut does not look right
The shock is not in the pic, what you see is the rubber stop, the spacer and the black shock plastic cover. I removed the spacer and shoved in the rubber bit inside the hole of the top strut support. Car drives fine and changes modes accordingly.... no lights or anything. I doubt there is damage. The shocks have been just ridden on with that much less travel if you think about it...I would get it down to a dealership pronto and have them inspect it since the delivery dealer's prep was obviously deficient and the shocks may be damaged. Hope the 3 yr warranty is still running on it but even if it is expired Ford needs to deal with that screw up.
I will enquire at the dealer tomorrow also...
