Thats a pity they are not all black. They look decent though. Im looking at getting some good DR's, not sure what to go with ET's, Nitto or 888r's.Finally test fit my set yesterday, I think they look good and these ET street R hook well even on the street. All black would have been better, but since they stopped selling them don't really have a choice. Function over form in this case. Went with a 26' tyre to hopefully improve my 60'. Setup with tyres cost me $1150AUD ($700-750USD).
Did anyone ever confirm that the 99-04 17x10.5 wheels work on the s550? I've seen evidence of the 17x9 but no actual pics of the 10.5sI'm planning to go with 305/45/17 MT ET Street Rs (28x12.5R17) mounted on 17x9" 1994-'04 Mustang 03 Cobra wheels. I've run 305s on 9.5" wheels in the past. Will they fit the 9" or should I go with the 10.5? MT lists the minimum size wheel as being 9.5" so I'm leading towards the wider wheels. People have posted that the 9' wheels fit without a problem -
Size: 17x9
Offset: +26mm
Backspacing: 6.02
Weight: 23lbs
Lug Pattern: 5x114.3
The 10.5s are -
Size: 17x10.5
Offset: +27mm
Backspacing: 6.83
Weight: 24lbs
Lug Pattern: 5x114.3
This is my first Mustang so I'm learning what fits and what doesn't.
That offset is way too low, especially for a drag wheel. There are some members rocking 19/20 x 10.5 on a 30-32 offset rear, but they're running at least 2 degrees neg camber to avoid rubbing, usually with max 285 wide tyre. If you ran that on a drag setup with a drag alignment, you'd be rubbing the fender with the actual tread lolDid anyone ever confirm that the 99-04 17x10.5 wheels work on the s550?
