Honestly, who prefers the GT 5.0 over GT350?

I would never even consider driving a manual so for me GT500 > GT5.0 > GT350
I on the other hand would never considering buying a Mustang AT. It's faster on a straight lane for sure but will never a make smile like a total control of changing gears on a manual transmission. for me that's more satisfying than a fraction of a second faster times.

Yep - if you just want a fast car without a manual transmission then you may as well buy a Tesla.

Paddle shifting is alot more fun than you guys are thinking. I have had 2 manual mustangs and a manual cts-v and I have more fun in my a10 GT paddle shifting it. With the different modes you can basically set it to powershift and break traction in drag mode in 2nd and 3rd gear shifts or shift smooth in sport mode. And well, its obviously much faster and more consistent than any human shift.

The Tesla Model 3 Performance is high on my list of choices when I replace my BMW. It handles very well and goes like mad.

Since I have had both,. the MT82 transmission is shit. The Tremec is the only way to go. I can't believe Ford is still putting the Chinese MT82 in the GT. The 350 engine is way better, the brakes are better, the looks are better, the exhaust sound is better, handles better. The price is not much more than a GT PP2 .

Yes below is a huge difference in price.

Ahhh .... I don't believe you had a PP2 right? You clearly optioned out a GT and showed the base 350 price.

Most of the stuff on the PP2 comes standard on the GT350

A couple thoughts on this thread.

-I have a GT and what I like about it is that I didn't get hit with a $20K ADM when I bought it. #outrageous #imacheaphapa

-The driving experience with the 350 is better from my perspective as a track enthusiast.

-It has a very cool design with cool features.

-What is not cool is that I know of several people with oil consumption issues and even a couple that had to either replace their motor or lemon it out.

-A tip of the hat to 350 owners, its a great car and can work wonders in the right hands.

For me, I just can't justify the ADM demands that my market commands especially when I've smoked a couple at the track.

You are just a better driver, not the car.

Nice if you are a lover of old 1/4 mile cars. (Can't lay the power down without slicks) Today, give me the GT and the GT350R!
You've apparently been driving the wrong Buick. I'd take this GSX Stage 2 over a 350R and GT combined. Arguably one of the best muscle cars of all time.

I'll stick with my 18 GT. This is my bone stock GT running a 70 GSX last year. 1/3 the cost of the Stage 1 GSX currently, it is a way better performance car at a great value.

What did you expect from a bone stock car?
My expectations were justified by the outcome. Of course you were going to win. Boring. That's like racing my ZL1 against the GT350R, of course I am going to win. Boring is when you know the outcome before it happens. So, boring.

I wasn't the one who brought the Buick GSX into this comparison. I just wanted to show how the GSX matched up to a GT since no one else on the forum posted a video of both......
