Yes, 18-19 Mustangs with the 10R80 transmission. David ran the 10.08 just two weeks ago down under. He has one heck of a hot rod and has it dialed in. We have worked with him over the last 6 months and he is a great guy! One thing that give the 6R80 cars an advantage is 8+ years of torque converter development. We have tried 3 different units from our friends at Circle D during the developmental process of the 10R80 torque converter and feel some tweaks in the converter alone will get us in the same 10.0X range once we get something loose enough. Congrats though is in order to him as he is only helping push everyone else to go faster. Hope this clears things up Burkey.

Yup. We have the NA world records for both MT82 and 6r80 down here.
I’m expecting to see Mark drop into the 9s today. Good times indeed.

David Sheehy ran [email protected] a while back.
His car is a 15-17 though so I’m not sure if you’re talking 18-19 only?

I can’t comment on David’s but Mark’s is well and truly a built engine.
I was asking for clarity because the title didn’t state the criteria:
Eg. Model year, full weight, engine spec, etc etc
So, it appeared that Steeda had the fastest NA S550 in the world, which isn’t true unless you put some caveats on it.
Regardless, the car is damn fast!

Steeda's NA 2018 has an unopened engine, meaning no head or valve work and running stock cams.

With some more fine tuning, I am confident that this winter the Steeda car will be in the 9s.

I appreciate that they are spending the time to dial in the NA setup.

I doubt they have cams. Their who idea was to have the quickest 2018 GT with an unopened engine.

I am guessing the combination of negative DA and tuning is netting the lower et and higher mph.
