Most engine engineers and designers will tell you to expectHow exactly is it meaningless? Maybe cause the big bad LT2 can't even crack 80hp/l NA?
- 70 - 80 hp / l for an OHV NA
- 85 - 100 hp / l for a DOHC NA
- 120 - 200 hp/l for a boosted DOHC
Because of it’s physical design (ie - the reason it’s called “Small Block”) the 6.2L LT1 and the 5.0L Coyote are practically the same physical size and weight. Remember, displacement is the size of the HOLES not the size of the METAL.
