Lethal Performance by Griptec 2020 Shelby GT500 Supercharger Pulley Kit (Hub and Ring)

We're proud to announce the release of the Lethal Performance by Griptec supercharger pulley kit for the all new 2020 Shelby GT500. From the factory the new Shelby GT500 comes with a 3.08" supercharger pulley which makes an estimated 12psi of boost. We worked closely with our friends over at Griptec to come up with a interchangeable pulley kit which uses a hub and ring design giving the customer several options in pulley sizes to choose the boost level you're wanting to make. Each Lethal Performance by Griptec pulley kit comes with the supercharger hub, supercharger pulley ring and the hardware needed to install the ring onto the hub. The rings are being offered in sizes from 2.35" through 3.15". What can you expect from this kit? More boost, more horsepower and more torque for your 2020 Shelby GT500.

Product Features:

Hub and Ring Design

Pulley Ring Sizes from 2.35" to 3.15"

Increased Boost

More Horsepower

More Torque

Necessary Hardware for Installation Included

So you eliminate the clutch?

What is expected 2.35" boost?

No special tools to remove OEM clutch and pulley?

I'm betting Ford will keep a very close eye on what people do with the 500 with respect to changing pulleys and tune, because you will need a tune as well. I predict within a month or so of deliveries, some will get modded and then blow up and the owners will try to get a warranty claim. I had two CTS-V's (2nd Gen) and same types of things happened.

What is needed to replace the pulley? Is it similar to the GM LT4? remove SC? press off? press on?

Let the modding begin. I'm staying stock..... until I'm bored. Kept my 03 Stock for 4 years. Then intake, pulley, tune, exhaust. Not sure 760 needs much of an upgrade....

Seems like a rush to be first to market. Shouldn't you test them on an actual production GT500 first?

These are a no clutch design. As far as tools go we're trying to make them so that you can use simple hand tools. However until they've been test fitted on a car we can't confirm that. If not we will have a removal/install tool available for purchase.

As far as boost goes with the 2.35" I'm unsure of that right now. We know that the stock boost level is 12psi however how much that changes every .05" in pulley size I'm unsure of. I will try and find out for you and reply as soon as I have that info.

Thanks!

These are definitely not rushed. We have CAD files for the car so we can design parts for them before they actually hit the streets. That's how most of the products we see in the aftermarket world are made. (Exhaust, intakes, dress up parts, ect)

I understand parts can be developed from CAD files, but it would make sense to test them on the physical car before selling them to ensure everything works as intended. Otherwise, you run the risk of something going wrong and dealing with returns plus more importantly customer satisfaction issues.

I understand. I'm sure we'll have them on cars shortly. Just waiting on them to start rolling out and we'll have some real world results to post.

As a customer of Lethal Performance in the past, I've had a great experience so I trust your company. Given that cars won't be in owners hands until sometime his fall, what is the return policy on the part should things not work out when the car finally arrives? Just thinking if someone purchased it from your site today we're months away from being able to even install it.
