Yeh I know another thread but hang with me. Im looking for simple answers and even searching this forum brings up a lot of stuff I dont have time to filter through. So any help is appreciated and sorry for another tire/wheel size thread.
Thanks!
I do plan to stay staggered, unless someone has a truly compelling argument for a squared setup other than tire rotation because I dont care that much. I should probably mention it is unlikely my car ever sees a track, daily driver, 110 Miles a day. Im fine with the 255/275 setup but would consider 275 square (compelling reason) or 275/285 but dont want to negatively effect ride or mpg characteristics.
So whats interesting in the chart below is that the 275's on the GT PP1 are max for the 9.5 inch rear rim on the PP1, thought that was interesting. Anyway Im looking at 10" rims, or a 10 and 10.5 front and rear respectively. So I could stay with 255/275 if I wanted with the 10/10.5 but the 255 on a 10 seems borderline?
Would it be weird to go 10" on all four and still run 255/275?
How do you figure out the offset? I want things to be as stock as possible. Do I work with a vendor when purchasing my wheels for this?
I hit up this chart about tire sizes and wheel sizes and I am trying to figure out what I can do with my GT PP1. I'm looking at some Forgstar M14's or the the Volk Rays but trying to figure out wheel size vs tire size and offset. But for almost all the wheels I like I start at 10".
