Could do all 4 for £200, it’s a solid colour so cheaper to paint. Did a set of Roush scoops for a member on here last week...

Finally sorted out the passenger door mirror, inspired by the instructions in https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/how-to-fix-the-passenger-mirror.62599/ (I used about 3mm of washers). Found the thread from a link over at MOCGB, where someone was trying to fix the same problem and finally did it after getting his dealer to try 5 mirror brackets! Even better, there's not just variable tolerances in the brackets, there must be in the doors and mirror housings too - one of the brackets that didn't work on his car had been taken from a car in the showroom where it worked fine!

Cheers Adam, and others. I've found another place who've quoted me £200, so i've dropped them off there. Phew! Pick them up next Tuesday. :like:

An update on my diamond cut stock Mustang wheels (2016), done last October. The dreaded white worm has gone into over-drive on all the wheels in the last 2 months so I decided to call it a day and sell them – I got £400 from WeBuyAnyAlloys. I knew the risks, but didn’t think it would get so bad so quickly, with the wheels just 2 months out of their short 6 month warranty (either a coincidence or the big-wigs at The Wheel Specialists know exactly what they’re doing!). I might have got more for them if I had sold privately, but I’m not so sure given their current condition (ironically, if they were just polished and not diamond cut, I could have had them cheaply touched up where damaged rather than needing to complete re-cut or re-spray them). So, diamond cut - never again! But the good news is that I’ve got them replaced with new Bola B18s in bronze. Off to Germany tomorrow for the big Mustang meet - so long as the heat doesn't kill me en route!

I fitted the exhaust last week and cut the standard diffuser to suit as i couldn't decide what aftermarket diffuser to fit.

Any more details on the exhaust? How big a job is this? I’m assuming this is a lot cheaper than buying the full Ford Performance active exhaust?

I think both back boxes were about a grand with VAT from Ford. They were supposed to be about £400 each but the drivers side one has a new part number and higher price and just under £600. The control kit was £157 from ebay. Item number 401678848988. Roush Valance was just under 400 from Nemesis UK.

The Ebay motors didn't line up with the ford valve so i just tack welded the spring in place as there isn't any room to get a tool into make new groves. Took a few mins a side and it was all working. The ford motors wont work with the ebay kit so they are spare parts.

The exhausts fit perfect and there is just 1 cut for each side to do and the mounting brackets all line up so mods needed.

I didn't do it to save money i just wanted an exhaust that was factory quiet for the family stuff and motorway trips but was loud when i wanted it to be.

Looking around the Roush active exhaust with valance is going to be about 3K so this is about half the price.
