I went up earlier today to Carma Performance in Nashville to get my stock 2018 GT dynoed for the first time. The results seem pretty good, though keep in mind that I was on a Dyno Dynamics dyno, rather than the Dynojet that most everyone seems to be using. If we play by the notion that Dyno Dynamics reads 13% lower than Dynojet, then this was around 423hp, which is pretty well in line with a lot of the other dynos that people have done. I hope to soon start modding my car!

What I find interesting is that there is a strange dip in power just after 6000rpm until just after 6500rpm. I have never seen this on another dyno graph of a 2018 A10 GT and it's a little concerning because that is strongly in the powerband. You can see that my car is climbing hard and then it tanks but then picks up again. Does anyone have an explanation for that?

My '18 M6 has that same dip. The dyno shop I went to said they would tune that out so it would just keep making power through that range. I actually think the Gen 3 would keep making power past 6800 where it hits the speed limiter and shuts off fuel.

Yeah that's interesting though, I have never seen that dip before on a graph. It should continue to climb being that peak power is at 7,000rpm.

Sorry to bring an old thread back from the dead. But I got my 2019 mustang GT dyno’d on a DD dyno recently. It has the A10, 3.55 gears, factory active exhaust, Roush H pipe, Roush CAI with insert removed (105mm MAF), on an unleashed flex fuel tune. She put down 436 WHP/382 WTQ. So these cars do respond well to mods that’s for sure.

Oh. That was also with 58% ethanol in the tank, on a hot and humid AZ day. So there’s more left.

Lol yup. We have some stations out here with E90 in Scottsdale. That would be fun to see.
I saw a considerable increase on the dyno testing our e54 vs what tested out to almost e90 with the same flex tune. Would be worth a few more pulls when you have a chance.

Wow! That sounds promising.
I’m also curious what it’ll put down on a dyno jet.
