was in my 2018 GT350. Left Nashville with 1985 miles and checked oil every 3rd fuel stop (about 1000 miles in between). Fill up, bathroom, purchases if needed and check oil level (about a 15min wait as listed in the manual). Oil level was good every time, even had two quarts of amsoil 5W-50 just in case. Averaged 24.4mpg and 340 miles per fill up. 80-85mph and I did drive around St Louis, Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake, Vegas, Phoenix, a lot of Route 66 spots, Tulsa and Springfield MO so it wasn't 100% highway only. Somehow we didn't hit a drop of rain either.
No complaints really though, I have the comfort seats and they were nice with the A/C going. The Recaro's at Track Attack must of been broken in because I wasn't feeling leg/thigh pains like I did when test fitting new ones prior to my purchase.
I didn't fell comfortable without a spare tire knowing I was going to be going at least 4000 miles so I bought one from Automotive Authority along with the wheel spacer needed for the front and I found a an OE ford jack/tool, breaker bar and a 13/16" slim socket. It all fits good in the spare well (front of the cover sits up 1/4-3/8") Glad to have it, even more glad it wasn't needed.
Couple highlights my wife and I enjoyed apart from seeing a lot from the highway, visiting Adam's Polishes (scored a few limited freebies too), seeing the Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 and 844 steam trains, Driving Fords GT350 around Utah Motorsports Campus, Zion national park, driving Vegas (have always flown before), Shelby American visit, meeting Gary Patterson there, Sedona AZ, Blue Swallow Motel on Rt66 heck almost all the spots on Rt66. Had a blast, wish we had more time to enjoy some more.
Thrilled we drove the Mustang, even if I picked up a rock chip on the a-pillar
