The car feels faster especially on the initial hit driving and really seems to pull hard AF, but it's not showing for sure and it should. As far as the reasons why we scratched our heads and double checked everything, between me Rob and Cody Batten we looked at everything we could. I'm also wondering now of it's the motor.

1. All runs were data logged and reviewed by us and Rob at PBD
2. No wheel or clutch slip showed on the dyno
3. Verified all runs to 8100
4. full timing verified
5. Same correction standard smoothing 5
6. Yes advance track was disabled via the connection next to the airbox.
Damn, all boxes checked then. Hopefully it's not the motor but I would advise a compression test.

How do the curves compare? More power in the midrange and then they all stop/flatline at 730? Or is the whole curve nearly identical? Post up the graphs if you can.

Your timing is on point so I wouldn't expect an issue with spark plugs, but couldnt hurt to check/change them while they're out for the compression test. Maybe something's funky with this dyno and you should try another?

Keen to see the dyno sheet. Could be interesting as @ahl395 alluded to.

I'll be doing a compression test soon and will post he logs as well.

Agreed what's the rest of the curves look like. A whipple drops efficiency BIG TIME in the upper rpm range. Are you logging boost at all?

Yes boost is logged, and I see 15 psi at 8k

and intake temperature? Lund told me expect 1% hp drop with every 10 degrees temp goes up. As blower efficiency goes, and pressure rises temp jumps big time.

IAT2 is a non issue and not pulling timing on my setup. I have a custom intercooler setup not many have, and my IAT2's were around 95F and no timing was being pulled anyway.

Temps can rise without pulling timing. It stayed at 95 the whole pull?

Sure I watch IAT's like a hawk and if you saw my setup you would see why I'm obsessed about killing heat. But the logs show IAT2 starting at around 87 F then drooping a bit then rising to 95 wish at the end of the run.

Mind Blown!!! I'm capped at 730 wheel for some dam reason, figure this one out and winner gets a prize (whine). Dyno'd last Friday 65 F, close to the other dyno days weather in the past and got the same results. All done on the same dyno with same pulley, but many other upgrades for power since the first dyno. Not blaming or shaming anyone here in fact I want to say I've received stellar treatment from Both Rob at PBD and Cody at Batten Motorsports in Bangor, thanks to you guys in advance.

Oct 2017 Whipple cal Gen 2.5
stock headers and cats
3.5" pulley
93 octane gas
Meth injection small shot
7800 rpm pull
18 total timing
730 wheel corrected
A/F 11.8

April 2019 Whipple Gen 4
Modified Whipple cal with HP tuners cam timing for power
Kooks 1 7/8 long tubes No cats
3.5" pulley
93 octane with 10 oz boostane
Meth injection
7800 rpm pull
20 timing advance
729 wheels corrected
A/F 11.8

June 2019 same as above except
PBD Rob cal
8100 rpm pull
22 advance timing
732 wheel corrected
A/F 11.8
simple... not enough boost

Are you saying 15 psi with 22 timing and 0 knock isn't capable of making 780-800 wheel? or are you saying a 3.5" pulley on a gen 4 at 8100 rpm should make more boost?

If its in fact peaking 15psi you should be over 800 wheel... Belt slip, bad tune or fuel next issues!
Stock cats also could be killing a good bit of power actually..

Man I'm not sure if you read through my description above, but all those boxes have been checked off already. I'm way past that stuff, but thanks for the input.

It wouldn't be reaching full timing 22 with 0 knock if it had bad fuel. Dyno didn't show any sign of belt, wheel or clutch clip, and cal is from one of the best Rob at PBD.

Has any other car, recently, made over 730 on that dyno?
