I’m looking to get a CAI on my 2017 eco and was wondering if there are any decent ones for under $200?

All input is welcome. Thanks

Save $150 and drop in a AFE or KnN Filter. There's nothing wrong with the stock air box and a CAI looks cool but won't get you any HP or Torque.

I went with an Airaid intake tube + Green high flow drop in filter in stock airbox. This setup cost me just about $200 and you will find quite a bit of info to support this configuration over a full replacement CAI system. Truth is, the stock system is a CAI to begin with and many tuners feel the stock airbox is actually very good for this engine.

Yeah general consensus is that for power a drop in filter is enough, and the Airaid intake tube also helps a bit on stock turbo.

I have the Airaid full CAI and like the look of it, I also have the NX2 turbo and with the Airaid I can have a 3" connection to the turbo intake which I presume helps over the stock airbox, but I doubt anyone has actually tested.

If you're after underhood looks, then its what looks good to you, none of them affect the power that much.

So you guys spend 3 bills to hear turbo noises? Screw that, I'd rather hear sidewalls on a track screaming to stay on asphalt.

I've got a wrinkle black MAP CAI with Green air filter just collecting dust in my garage if you don't mind slightly used (had it on the car for about 6,000 miles). I'm up in the Oviedo area if you're interested.

Did this make the turbo audible inside the car with the windows up? That's ALL I'm looking for....turbo sounds.
It added some, but if turbo sound is what you want, an open top full CAI system would be what you are looking for I think.

I'm not saying this to start a debate about how good or bad K&N is but, my Ford dealer, with whom I have a great relationship, told me that a k&n filter could void my warranty on my engine if it failed. They said the oil bath filter just doesn't cut it. I decided to ditch it and get the FRPP Performance Kit with filter. I regret nothing!!!!

I have the Mishmoto CAI in the polished finish. You will get some turbo noise but very small. I like the little noise it added. I also did there charge pipes. Niether CAI or charge pipes make any performance difference.

I really enjoy checking my oil now.

My friend has a brand new GT500, he's selling the stock air box, would there be any advantage to installing it in my 2018 Ecoboost? He's asking $150
