What's your blend date if you're waiting for a steering wheel?

So, not that it will do any good but will at least give us something to do, anyone interested in looking at blend dates versus when things actually happen? If so, post your blend date, in production date, and any dates on shipping issues below. I'll aggregate the posts into a table here, starting with some I found in other threads.

And if anyone knows how to format a table on the site, let me know. The line-o-dots method leaves a lot to be desired.

And I'm pissed that I just missed whatever cutoff BoB hit!

Use Excel or Google sheets then take a snap shot and post as a pic.

Blend: 03/01
In Production: 03/04
Arrived: 03/13

Tracker never updated that it was "in transit". Went from "awaiting shipment", even when my dealer e-mailed me it had already arrived, and then "delivered" the next day.

My “in production” date is 2/19 as well - been stuck there for a month!

Ordered 8/21
Promised contract 7/25
Actual contract 8/29
Promised blend 11/8
Windowsticker mid of Jan
Blend on WS 1/21
In production 2/14

Update beginning this week:
Still on lot waiting; edd 5/25 !!!!! (Europe)

Second update from importer after complaining:

Waiting cars are rarely repaired. It can take weeks and happens randomly.
This is partly due to the limited supply of extra steering and capacity. Zooks' estimates are therefore still optimistic.
To make it worse for Europe. No view of gate release and after gate release 12 weeks overseas shipping.
The problem is that there are hardly any cars in stock here. Canceling is actually not an option either.

Looks like my in production is missing. It is the same date as my blend from the WS 3/6

Mine is in Waycross GA, about 1:30 from Jax. Hopefully it has a real steering wheel and not two visegrips clamped to the steering shaft.

Funny (not really) FordPerfChat said Monday it was in a rail yard in New Boston MI, Wednesday it was at the Flat Rock assembly plant (he wrote this info was from 2/14 and the latest he had), and now today at Waycross.

Here is my EU Order history:

Ordered: 14.09.2018
Order confirmed: 17.09.2018
Order Number received: 27.09.2018

From this point forward I didn't see any actual documents, but last week my dealer stated as follows:

Blend Date: 31.12.2018 (???)
In Production: January 2019
Waiting for Gate Release: 01.02.2019
Awaiting Shipment: 13.03.2019

I hope he's right.

Good job Zooks527,
It’s so frustrating for all of us to be waiting like this without getting any updates from either Ford or our individual dealerships. We should all send a letter to a Ford demanding some type of compensation. I believe I read where one member got a private cash Bach coupon for $750.

We should also keep in touch one of us on the above list sees a change to their status so we might all have something to look forward to. I’ve already purchased, and have sitting at the dealership, over$3000 worth of accessories so I can’t really afford to cancel. But if this drags on throughApril into May I might just say “ fuck it” and buy something else.

Totally agree - the latest “update” from my dealer was that they HOPE to remedy all of the cars without steering wheels by mid-April. After that we will still have to wait for shipment to be arranged and then vehicle delivery. May 2019 seems like a new realistic target date for most of us. Which would put me at over 6 months for a relatively plain Jane Ecoboost order.
My dealer is driving down 90 miles to another dealership today to get a plain Jane Mustang for me that has a window sticker date of 1/31/19, carfax says produced 1/22/19 ??? during the shutdown?? and was at the dealer by 2/20/19. And they could not do that with my 10/20/18 order?? Sadly the dealer ordered an extra car just like mine to see if he could get that order faster (didn’t work out like that) and even though they said he could cancel the extra, someone decided not to let that happen. So there will now be 3 of my special order unique build cars in town IF it works out today....

:frown:

I have told myself mid April as a cut off date. But what am I supposed to do? Cancel then and start over? I tried to buy off a dealer lot last year and could not find anything configured like I wanted and I looked pretty high and low. Going far away is a pain.

Let's hope for the best!
