a difference with the origin or not?
No. It might have been a tiny bit taller (1 or 2 mm). Didn't measure, just eyeball.

OK motor sound question or performance a difference?

Car sounded no different. Performance hard to say. I read another thread somewhere where a guy in a GT dyno'd the car before and after and said it gave 4.8bhp more, basically a little over 1% improvement, which seems reasonable. So figure on an extra 5bhp and a slight improvement in mileage... Given the cost is only slightly more than the Ford paper filter, definitely a no brainer.

I believe (another poster mentioned) that they are identical. The one from Ford Performance comes in the Airaid box with a Ford Performance sticker on it.
