Well.. Had a few runs at the dragstrip when stock and the best I could do was a 12.758 @ 112.91mph. Car had about 3,600 miles on it at the time.

Had a Roush blower installed about 3 weeks ago and finally made it to the strip again this past Saturday. Still on the stock Michelin Pilots. I only had time for two runs that day due to all of the team events but this time I managed a 12.213 @ 123.09mph. First run I barely launched it because I didn't know what traction would be like (2.47 60' time, lol). Second run I launched at about half throttle and kept it there until I found the tires hooking up. I did not pre-load, launch was off idle.

I know these times suck but this is my first rear wheel drive car with power and I am still learning how to launch properly.

The slip on the left is my best stock run, the slip on the right is run #2 with a blower. Traction control was NOT on for the stock time but WAS on for run two with the blower. I could feel it kicking in for at least the 1/8th mile.

The traction control killed you. 123 is good MPH. should easy be low 11's with that MPH. Your biggest problem is probably going to be traction with the stock tires.

Seriously you need drag radials or any chance of consistancy will never be obtained.

Understood :) Haven't had much practice with traction control off. Kinda scared to send it. Or break stuff! Heading back soon. Hopefully traction will be as good at the next T&T as it was during the team event.

Turn both traction control & stability control off with a set of M/T ET Streets and you will enter a different world.

With the blower, you will want to upgrade halfshafts when you go to a DR.

I know.. Trying to stay away from the track now so I don't spend a load of money!

But that's sure to happen anyway

on a hot muggy day same setup but with dr and pp1 car my 60' was 1.71 , roush has had a revised tune for auto's idk if yours needs it (i got a very early one) and havent been back to the track since the revised tune but Marcus@roush has posted a 10.80 run with dr and a retail kit (7.0 in the 1/8th). That and i havent ran the 1/4 yet either just 1/8 mile.

You have invested a good junk with the blower setup. Not sure why the first mod would not be a good set of drag radials. I bet you will even pick up more mph with the drag radials. Probably be around 126mph and drop an easy second.

Definitely on the list :) Just seeing what my lack of driving skill can do with street tires before I go whole hog.

No.. 300a. No extra modes.. If I turn TC off and floor it from a dead stop it doesn't move.. Just spins tires. Finessing the throttle isn't something I'm used to :)
