I recently installed Air Lift performance 3H bags. My previous Wheel and Tire setup was as follows. SVE Gt350 20×10 275/35r20 on all four. This setup rubs on the front strut / airbag lower perch.
I'm looking for new wheel and tire setup.

Anybody have any insight on the RTR Tech 5's with a standard or staggered setup on bags? Looking for a nice flush mount setup, that I can air out safely.

Thx

That SVE wheel was a 20x10" ET40, which the majority of 10" wheel wheels will be if they are to actually fit on the S550 chassis. Many companies make a 19 or 20x10" ET35 wheel, but this fitment is very aggressive in the rear and could rub, especially when aired out.

My best advice for you is to try a narrower wheel up front, like a 9.5" width and stick to a 255 or 275 wide tire. Another option would be to run a 10" wide wheel with an ET40 offset, but also a 5 to 10mm spacer up there. This way, the rear wouldn't poke with an ET40 offset and the front would be flush with an effective ET30 offset, while not rubbing.

If I go with the RTR Tech 5 the fronts would be 20×9.5. Just not sure if the 20x10.5 would fit in the rear.

5mm spacers are pretty cheap. I’d start there, unless you’re just itching to change things up.

At first I wanted the wheels I had to fit. The more I look the more I started to want to change things up.

At this point I'm torn. Never used spacers before. Will the wheels be in balance still with no vibrations?

As long as you get some good quality ones, there shouldn't be any vibrations.

What are the offsets of their 20x10.5" wheel?

+45.

I was thinking I would reuse my 275/35's on the rear for now. However if possible in the future upgrade to something wider. For the front I would get 255/35's for the 20x9.5.

That will fit well in the rear. A bit of tire stretch but nothing obscene.
