Over here the cobra badge means diddly shit to anyone without pure US gas in theirs veins and it’s black. Badge fascists. But I stopped watching TG after his comments about the MustangYeah, putting a Cobra emblem on a GT just doesn't seem right. It's also a little surprising to me that he got it given his review of the S550 on Top Gear previously (not that he thought it was bad, he just didn't seem to really like it):
It'd be no different than putting AMG badges all over a lower spec Mercedes.Over here the cobra badge means diddly shit to anyone without pure US gas in theirs veins and it’s black. Badge fascists. But I stopped watching TG after his comments about the Mustang
I just messaged him about that. Invite him to enter the debate.
I can see your point of view there. But over here a Mustang is a still rare car that draws attention and a Shelby is a unicornIt'd be no different than putting AMG badges all over a lower spec Mercedes.
And which shouldn’t be done. It'd be no different than putting AMG badges all over a lower spec Mercedes.
Doesn’t matter how rare a car is or isn’t, you’re saying you have something you don’t.I can see your point of view there. But over here a Mustang is a still rare car that draws attention and a Shelby is a unicorn
Which Mercedes themselves have been doing for years, same with BMW's ///M division. It'd be no different than putting AMG badges all over a lower spec Mercedes.
Agreed, I see people at Carlisle every year who believe a "build" is applying the full American Muscle catalog to their car. Badge aside at least this car doesn't look ridiculous.Oh....there's plenty of people here that do much worse things to their Mustang.
The badge is cringe-worthy, but over-all the car is pretty tasteful. Not too over-the-top.
Correct they aren’t a legal requirement in the U.K. on pre 2018 registered carsI wonder how he fixed losing the DRLs unless they are not mandatory in the UK.
And yes that snake needs to go.
