I don’t know. But to me. Even 50k sales for a toy. Is pretty solid. When most people are choosing between a SUV or a sports car. We all know how that’s gonna go.
Actually an intelligent statement.

Maybe so but GM is looking for high volume and big bucks 50k sales ain't going to get it.
Government motors is toxic. They will find a way to ruin everything. Then run to the government for the next hand out. Or threaten to leave for China. I say fuck em. Let them leave!

Sales don't matter I bet GM made more money because of the higher ATP because we know the cost of each car.

Also track times don't matter. Only the number of vacations you take each year. I took 6 vacations this past year!

That is how bad things have gotten. The number of vacations you take each year......

Didn't you read the story Motor1 says so
I did read the story and it says that no where. In the title it says that the Challenger outsells the Camaro, and that the Mustang reigns supreme. All through the article they talk about the Challenger selling slightly more than last year, the Mustang being top dog in sales, and the Camaro being in danger because its sales are low and falling. Can you quote where it says that the Challenger dethroned the Mustang?

My current theory is that people are buying fewer Chevrolets due to the poor reputation of the French. Who wants to buy a French car when the common folk in France are rioting against their heavy-handed, socialist government?

My guess is that when the Mustang and Camaro move on to their 7th Gen, Challenger comes out with a convertible. Bam right back in it.
Anyways, congrats to Mustang. If the Camaro is killed off and the Challenger eventually goes away I'm hopeful the Mustang will carry the torch.

Did "Freedom Fries" ever catch on down there?

This disastrous facelift sure won't help the Camaro's numbers next year. They'll be fleeing in droves to the Ford dealerships.

Glad I could assist, although if Dodge had their act together and had been bringing a new chassis to market for 2019, with a convertible, that may have swayed me to waiting. At this point it seems Dodge is becoming the new Studebaker, as in the Avanti was the nicest looking Lark ever built.

At this rate FCA is going to make the current Charger and Challenger for another 10 years! It seems new colors, classic names, and some slight exterior/interior changes is all they need to do...and it's working.

The Challenger is big and comfy and it has big engines available. I bet if Ford came out with a 7 liter Mustang GT, Mustang sales would skyrocket. It might help if they made the seats a little wider as well.
