That’s not at all why were talking about the GT3.A GT3RS costs around $200K, I would think you could pick up a $70K GT500 and make a few mods to match the GT3RS performance if that was your goal and still be almost $100K better off.
It was brought up earlier and if the means were there, it was to purchase a GT3 over the 500.
I would no doubt, and many people who actually can would. Let it be known I absolutely can’t buy a GT3 lol. Can dream though.
The GT3 RS engine just has me in love with it. Did you know it’ll make full power in a hot day in Death Valley on premium fuel? This is straight from Porsche’s mouth.
It also has built in Ram air, and with estimates it actually hits 550-560 hp on a temperate day at speeds. How insane Is that for a 4L NA.
Edit:
“We asked Preuninger about the future of the GT3, specifically about electrification and the continued use of naturally aspirated engines. The GT3 is the only Porsche left that doesn't use a turbocharger. It's 4.0-liter flat-six makes 520 very healthy horsepower (Preuninger says that's a summer in Death Valley rating. In moderate climates the car makes a bit more).“
