Yup. This.
Sure, 3D printing has progressed at a rapid rate, however it seems unlikely to be faster/better for mass production. Of course if numbers of the GT500 are low, then maybe it is faser/cheaper than setting up a casting or other traditional manufacturing method.

OK...there had been mention that two 3D printed parts were coming from there for use on the GT500. Any mention of what the other one was? Or on active brake ducting for that matter?
Unfortunately Harold didn't disclose what the second product is- sorry man!

Gotcha. And just to be clear, the part Harold did disclose is indeed the production piece? In other words, the printed part will absolutely be the actual part used on the assembly line and not just for prototyping/development, correct?

Indeed sir- 100% 3D printed and production ready. At least that's what he told me.
