First, I tried the search feature and I'm not finding what I'm looking for.

I have checked with my local dealer and they show different part numbers for the lower valance (basic number 17A989) on a PP1 and PP2 car. The Ford parts system shows that the PP2 uses a special lower valance to work with the splitter. It seems that its not as easy as adding the PP2 splitter to a PP1 car.

Surely someone else has added the PP2 splitter to their non PP2 car. How did you do it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I guess I'll dive in and figure this out when the car gets here. ;)

I was interested in doing this but i believe the price is too much compared to other options.

I did this. The PP2 uses a different lower valence. The difference between the pp2 valance is that it has the holes needed to install the pp2 splitter. With that said, I was able to get it to work with my pp1 valence. I lined up the Pp2 splitter with my pp1 valence off the car, drilled the holes needed and it all went into place.

Or check out SBS Performance Parts, they make a splitter extension for the PP1 that is fairly reasonable in cost at $225.

Where did you get yours? Do you have the ford part #?
I ordered from my local Ford dealer. They were able to look up the part number.
