The wife wanted a corvette. We were going to trade her car for a z06. We're both in our 50s. Im 6'4 270. Just trying to get in and out of a vette. Cured me of my desire to own one.

Drove a Miata hardtop convertible with Recaros for a couple days this week. Even with the top down, one of the most difficult cars to get in or out of in my life. I'm 5'7" and under 200 (but not much)

It did. Black leather outer with alcantara centers. Nice seats, but the side bolsters combined with the miniscule door opening makes ingress / egress a bitch. It's still circulating through the office. If I get a chance I'll take a shot of the seats and DM that to you on Monday.

The V8 isn't going anywhere. There are still a lot of V8 cars being built. The V8 displacements might shrink and get boosted, but the amount of cylinders really isn't all that important.

I would agree especially since the money has already been spent to keep the performance, fuel savings, etc top notch.

I'm sure Ford is looking at FCA with their by industry standards ancient architecture and ability to keep sales going. People like the Mustang...all you need to do is keep the tech fresh and keep gradual improvements in other places.
