Photos i've seen of the hood scoop looked me like it rolls down the hood line because it's got a channel/ducting that redirects the airflow towards the OEM air intake location (so benefits most from an open lid design CAI)

Looks good! I'm fixing to pull the trigger on that spoiler, but scared to death of drilling my trunk.

Thanks........Are you a spoiler delete or convertible ?

EDIT: found your pics and answered my question. I already had a spoiler so I didn’t have to drill. Make sure you drill the holes large enough to compensate for any adjustment and use a vacuum while drilling. Also use a strong magnetic screwdriver but I would suggest getting hex bolts instead. Also make sure you have help holding the spoiler in place while you install the fasteners. Walk in the park, just a little pucker installing the screws.

Made a 149-mile loop from San Diego CA to Campo CA and return. Odometer is at 1,221 now. The roads—mostly CA Hwy 94, south of I-80 near the Mexican border—are sufficiently twisty to gain a fairly good impression of what the PP suspension does, albeit I'm still limiting RPMs to 4500. Well, a few times close to 6000. Quite a few times.

I thoroughly enjoyed putting the 10-speed automatic through its paces. It always answered when I called on it, and has a ratio for every situation I got into. I'm delighted.

Perhaps next week I'll do a similar route north of I-80, and start messing with the toggle switches.

Damn, that car really does look good.

I installed the TruFiber carbon fiber mirror covers. Man, I love the glossy finish and look of TruFiber products. I got the engine cover, now the mirror covers. Has anyone done a full CF conversion on a S550 I can take a look at? I wonder how that would look.

Traded my base 2017 base GT for a 2018 GT Premium. Went from 6 spd to the 10A. So in a way, I added Sync 3, active exhaust, Pony lights, chrome 19's etc. I'm worn out :)

Quick google search:

Most of my '19 will be carbon. I don't want to do the bumpers for the sake of a scuff would bring me to tears.

I can tell you what I haven't done to my S550 Mustang today, or yesterday, or this month...or last month...and that's driven it. Last driven Saturday, June 2nd 2018.

I feel ya there. I haven't seen any of my toys since May 5th. My wife has driven the cobra a few times, and my lightning once. She refuses to drive the 68.

As for my S550, i got it back from the dealer yesterday. Rattle fixed. Much better to drive now.
