in this case I feel like your boost ref now is more “honest” than with the Whipple, but in the end what really matters is mass flow. A change of a few thou is all it takes sometimes to mitigate blowout but if you’re already at .028 maybe you need to try some Brisk plugs or something.

I tried gapping the plugs down to .023” as a recommendation as well from another of my buddies running a Whipple. The car now does not break up at all even up to 18psi of boost. Instead it just blows off my drag radials even in 3rd gear. Lol

Nothin' beats an easy fix! Re-gapping my plugs solved my issue, too. :headbang:
