Am I missing something, or is it THAT great of a deal? For a complete kit? Oversized heat exchanger off the bat, but the rest (throttle body, 10 rib belt sys etc) can be upgraded down the road. Thoughts on deal and what I would be looking at hp/tq pre and post upgrade? Trying to get a feel for what I want, but definitely Whipple.

Anyone? Curious as to the difference between it and just the stage 2 kit and why so much cheaper.

Its not cheaper. You need to figure on adding tuning, 132mm TB, plugs, and t-stat to get what you get from Whipple with their standard stage 2 kit, which brings the total to $9,014. If you already have an SCT or nGauge, the Beefcake price is down to $8,685.

Thanks....trying to get feel for what these packages entail. I have nGuage but would probably stick with the Whipple tune that comes with it for the time being. So basically all the vendors are asking around $8400 for the Stage 2 right now. Add a heat exchanger, 132mm throttle body along with OPG and CS and we're looking at 10G easy. What does Whipple include in their Stage 2 kit?

If you want the Whipple tuning you should not even be looking at the Beefcake kits. The base Whipple stage 2 kit comes with everything you need including the 132mm TB and H/E. There is literally no need to order anything else.

I've also said this before about a million times...wait for the once a month Whipple 15% off sale and you should be able to get a complete kit for around $7k to your door.

The heat exchanger is a $400 add-on as of today. I thank you for the help. After hours and hours of searching and reading, the brain can become a little numb..

The $400 option is for the UPGRADED H/E. Imo the standard H/E is more than enough for most.

it actually is, a stage 2 kit is 8445

my custom setup with stage 2 tb is 7795, and then he pays lund $400 to upgrade hit tune, so for $300 less, he has a custom tune, and a 1000cc injector vs a 72lb injector. which are $400 more

it's a great package, especially for those planning on growing, or already have a tune, or headers, etc.., and you save $700

Just went on your site again, and with the 132 TB, Lund tune, plugs, and t stat it comes to $8685. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
