Stay away from Icon Composites. Not cheap and some of worst carbon weave I've seen. The clear coat has bubbles on all the pieces. They market having some of the finest carbon that's made in the USA, what a joke. I've seen better Carbon that came from China. I'm just here to save the next guy from getting scammed by these guys.

Welp... it did come from China, so...
Well, it's supposedly made in the USA. But that's not an indicator of quality and I wish people didn't use that as such.

Yea I don't remember the last time I was excited about the latest smart phone made in the USA. Before anyone says Apple, it's made by Hon Hai Precision Industry Co better known as Foxconn.

Granted our factories generally don't have safety nets to prevent employee suicides. So we have that going for us.

Yea, it's all about quality control. You get shitty products out of china with no quality control, and you'll get shitty products from the US with no quality control.

Yep, they are more than capable of making perfectly good quality. It's just most people never pay them for it. I've actually had problems dealing with Chinese manufacturing because of that. They are used to making things as cheap as possible for the most razor thin margin. So if you're having them make something that carries a high margin it can be hard to get them to stop being cheap. Can be a serious challenge to convince them to like "no don't save 3 cents there, that makes the product look like shit..." because they don't get that your margin is like 800% lol.

When I was poor I had a super ghetto mechanic like that. His customers were mostly real poor folks and he was used to never doing anything 100%. Have to take heads off the engine? Replace the valve seals? Nah why would u spend $15 they're not broken yet... Was real hard to explain that while I'm poor I don't want him to save $15 on something that will prevent huge future labor costs.

Wow -- what piece is that? I can't tell from the pics. Whatever it is, it is horrible though.

From the pics it looks like fender flares -- yet they don't sell fender flares for the Mustang -- or at least I couldn't find them.

Did you complain to them and did they offer to replace it?
Could that have been damaged during shipping?

We need more info...

Considering this is the one and only post by the OP almost a week ago, I doubt you'll get a response.

Just wanted to add something to this.

Received a camo carbon roof spoiler from icon through vivid racing. While it’s pretty good it’s not up to my standards.

For $400 I expect perfection, yet this has bubbles and a clear chip in it. Fitment is also subpar and the spoiler doesn’t reach across the whole rear windshield.

I won’t give up on icon yet and I’ll see how they handle it and if replacements are better.

Figured I would post on here and let people know and also give icon a chance to stand by their product
