Hi, you guys have helped a TON. So, thanks to everyone for feedback.

I am ordering a 2018 GT premium coupe with the following:

A10
401A
PP1
Magneride
Active exhaust
Interior: ceramic
Exterior: Kona but I really like the Orange Fury, but my family thinks it's too racy for a 62 year old.

I'm emailing 4 dealers with this info. Waiting for prices.

Any tips on ordering? It will be my first ordered car in 36 years. Is there a dealer out there that has better prices?

Definitely shop around. I bought mine last month for $800 below invoice plus the $1,500 rebate. Total was about $5,000 off sticker. This was the best price from several dealers in my area on a 2018 GT Premium.

I know you can negotiate the price off MSRP at time of order, but I believe you are locked into whatever the rebates are at time of delivery. That would be the only wild card, but I can't see the rebates being any less than they are now for a 2018.

Just got call from the dealer. Can't do ceramic interior with 401A, gotta do 400A. Might just do the dark blue seats

Explain to your family that one of the first trips you plan to make with your new Mustang, is a trip to your attorney to update your will.

Then ask them again if orange is ok?

Not sure if you're aware, but the blue seats are really just black with some blue accents. Members have posted pictures on here to show them. They look good, but I wanted to make sure you knew they weren't actually blue.

By the way, Kona with the Midnight Blue interior sounds like an awesome combo.

I like the way you think. :hail:

I wanted yellow and my wife told me I was "Too old" (at 52) when I ordered mine.

OP, get the damned OF!! It's your car. Just tell the family it's "Panty dropper orange"

I think I read on another post earlier today that Magnaride is on back order until 2019s start building...not sure how accurate that was

The build and price tool does not allow ceramic with 401a. I love my ceramic interior. When I ordered mine I think I email around 10 local dealers and went with the lowest offer.

When I decided to get my Mustang I told her I wanted it in Competition Orange and she was ok with it we both loved it when we saw is it. I was 55 then.

I really wanted the fancy dashboard and heated steering wheel, but I would rather have the ceramic which I think is just awesome. So, I will save 1400 off msrp by going with the ceramic, nav and some money left over!

A lot of people on here have purchased from Koons in Baltimore, Maryland.

https://www.koonsfordbaltimore.com
Those prices are insane. The same base GT in Colorado is at least 32K. Their prices are at least 2-3K cheaper.

I have never seen a base GT go for 29K even with the 1500 dollar rebate included. I'll definitely buy from them if these prices are legit.

Their prices are misleading. They don't include freight or other dealer fees (plan on another $300-700). Also tax, title, etc. I would add $1200-1500 to their online posted price to get a better idea before tax, title, etc.

My base bought 2 days ago with the A10 was $30,745 after all rebates and incentives. That was the negotiated price before other "fees" and taxes. They had a $199 dealer fee and another couple hundred in state fees and taxes added to get out of the door. No major sales tax due to the trade in.

I asked koons to give me a quote on the car as well I'll let folks know how it comes out. I did get a local dealer though to give me almost 5K off the total price which was decent. I decided against the ceramic as the Ford document States " let the customer know that it may stain easily".
