Hey guys, I searched for awhile looking for something like this and couldn’t find much. Here’s my contribution! I know this won’t be for everyone. It’s a strictly function setup and not the prettiest, but definitely gets the job done.

Front wheels - Vision Sport Star II 17x4.5 $121.00
(I did have to machine down my front calipers a few MM)
Front tires - Mickey Thompson sportsman 26x6-17 $ 198.00
Combined weight - 34 pounds

Rear wheels - Motegi MR135 17x9.5 with a +45 offset $132.00
Rear tires - Mickey Thompson 305/45/17 $267.00
Combined weight - 54 pounds

Total - $1436, about a thousand dollars cheaper than what a race star setup cost. Weight savings were pretty significant too, I'll post them once I get my hands on a scale

Yes I know the tread is on the wrong side, I was just test fitting for clearance. I'll need to raise the back about an inch.

Very cool! Good looking car too. I used LMR 17x9 FR500s (20lbs and $125) for the rears until getting the f14 drag pack. Could not find an inexpensive alternative for the brembo front that didn't require cutting/grinding. You also lucked out on not having to use the racestar specific lug nuts.

Can I assume that those fronts would fit non-Brembo cars without needing any grinding?

I am looking for a value front wheel setup for occasional trips to the strip.

I'd say yes. I barely had to take any off of my Brembos.

Where did you order the wheels from?

Wow that's pretty cool you got the 17s to fit up front!

Do you mind posting a pic of how much material had to be removed from the caliper?

Looks very close on the rear. I have seen tires rub on hard launches at the track.

I was about to say, you have the tires on wrong lol. Good cheap set up man. Loving both front and rears. Makes me think about selling the SVE 17’s.
