Hi Guys,

I'm looking at some wheels and I was wondering if anyone knows, will a 20" x 10" wheel with a 45mm offset rub on the strut if used on the front of a GT Performance Package Mustang. Thanks in advance!

It can depending on the x factor but the offset is too high personally you want a ET 40 highest brotha.

Thanks Paul! That's what I figured. My initial research showed that it looked like people running a 20x10 square setup were using a 35mm offset.

Bummer, Tire Rack was blowing out some Verde wheels but only in this size...

MMD wheels run that same setup. 5mm spacers worked. I was running 20 all around to get them flush

If you use a 5mm it can work I would do it all around though for a better fitment.

So when looking at new wheels and tires for my GT PP the offset for "plug and play" is 35 or 40? I am stock now and just looking to change out what I have and have it work. No spacers or other adjustments. Thanks!

with a 20X10, +35 +40 is the ideal fitment for the front but also be mindful that not all wheels available in 20x10 +35 or +40 will have the same brake clearance as others.

Correct the most plug and play depending on the style as this is very important style factors to X factor which is the clearance from the back of the spoke to the calipers highest point.

So most wheels for the mustang sweet spot is ET 35-40

I have done as low as a ET 25 as well.

Let me know if you need any help ill be happy to help you out.

Hi Guys,

I was hoping to get a little more help! Also, I'd like to say thanks to everyone who replied.

So... I found a decent price on the Verde Empire wheels in 20X10 5x114.3/5x4.5" +25mm. Will these wheels fit on my 2016 GTPP, or will they rub the inner fender or the lip of the fender when turning or hitting bumps? Thanks!
