I thought the active exhaust was simply going to be stock and loud.

This is really cool, good job Ford!

I have to admit when I saw the '18 price increase, I was really really contemplating picking up a left over '17 at a good price but the timing option on the dual mode exhaust is really enough to get me to commit to an extra $7K. I know it sounds stupid but I buy a new car every 10 years or so and I want the newest and the best. Ford has laid the bait, and I'm caught in the trap! I'm going to have to pay for interior upgrade heated steering wheel, performance pack, magenride, and active exhaust. $50K for a Mustang - who woulda thought? But at least I'll be happy (for a couple of years) knowing I have the newest.

I'd be happier if they offered automatic rev-matching for the manual version ala 370z

Preach it. I'm 6'5" and can't see the speedo. Drove a rental Ford Excursion and flipped that the center digital displace just showed the speed.

so happy I bought a boat, otherwise the 15 would turn into a 18GT.

Ford thank you for all the new choices/options can't want to see Gen7 now.

The exhaust option is bad to the bone.

In all seriousness, the Normal mode really is a good feature. My neighbors are great and i give that courtesy to them for me to flip to it Normal for those early mornings or late evenings.
