Would the Hawk HPS pads be an updgrade over the stock Performance Pack stuff when I track my car. I think for next track day, I need different pads/brake fluid...got a little squishy at end of day 2 so I'm looking for some help.

Would the Hawk HPS pads be an updgrade over the stock Performance Pack stuff when I track my car. I think for next track day, I need different pads/brake fluid...got a little squishy at end of day 2 so I'm looking for some help.
No, not really. HP+ would be a mild upgrade though. They squeal quite a bit for regular street driving though, as long as you're ok with that.

Yeah, don't care about the squeal. I'd be swapping pads for track, then putting the stock stuff back on after track day.

If you're going that route, there are better options:

Carbotech XP12/XP10 or G-LOC R12/R10.

Recommended setup is at least XP12 front, if not XP16. Depends on your experience/talent level.

I only run in blue group right now. So experience isn't the best, but not the worst either lol. But, I plan on doing at least 4 more days worth of track time this year, so hopefully I get better. I know I need some brakes and better wheels/tires. Want 285 square set up
