Got alot done today. I removed my sound tube, installed my Boost and fuel pressure A-pillar gauges, changed my differential oil, and installed my Singer 370A alternator.

Nice build! I was looking into a Singer alternator also. I got a quote from him already (looking into a 270 amp one), but was curious if the Singer alternator you have is bigger than the the stock in terms of physical size. The quote I got say the higher amp ones has a larger casing and wanted to know if he meant the physical size. If so, I will have to go with a lower amp one that is closer to stock size?

My engine is lowered by 1/2 inch and the alternator is sitting real close to the sway bar bushing bolt and I was getting worry a bigger alternator may not fit? Thanks!

Thanks!

Our alternators are already a large case design, so his "large case" options will work. He uses the same exact housing so it bolts right up into place. Same regulator as well so no issues with the computer or electrical system.

I went back and forth with him over 40 times to get all my questions and concerns answered. He was extremely helpful and his customer service was great. Highly recommend! He was able to make me an alternator that idled well but also could sustain my raised redline (tell him about this if yours is raised as well).

Had a pipe blow off on one of my runs, which they fixed for me no charge! Check your clamps make sure they're tight! Glad it didn't happen to me on the street. :headbonk:

More info and pics soon, as well as suspension upgrades.

Awesome build there

I wish I had the knowledge to work on the car. Post a video of your car, maybe 1/4 mile time

Thank you!

Luckily I was a auto mechanic for a few years (now forklift mechanic), so I can do most things myself and save myself quite a bit of money.

Will take some videos soon!

Got my suspension parts in today!

Install was quite challenging, looking back I may have paid someone to do it in a shop lol. Nothing lined up easily in the rear, Driver side front Steeda bushings was the hardest part. Had to get two different spring compressors for the front as the first one didnt work, picked up a "single action" spring compressor from Harbor Freight which worked semi-well. Lol

Haven't gotten much drive time with it yet but can already tell it handles bumps so much better and smoother. Car doesn't point at the sky anymore accelerating either.

Clocking bushings and aligning tomorrow!

Looking fantastic! Pretty much sits exactly like my car does, but you're +300 lb in the back!

Made my appointment today for my wastegate & BOV modifications. June 30th, cant wait.

Opted to mount the wastegate on the driver side of the intercooler, and a BOV on the hot pipe in place of the Procharger bypass valve. Referencing boost for the wastegate from the hot pipe as well.

Went with the intercooler mounting because I already felt the hot pipe was too cramped, didnt want to squeeze anything else in there. Upgraded to a BOV since I (and Lund) was skeptical of the standard bypass valve being able to bleed off ~20psi of boost from the smaller pulley.

Went with blue Turbosmart for the WG & BOV. PSI Proformance in PA will be doing the modifications to my parts, I'll be uninstalling/reinstalling.

Will be wastegating at 12psi which is close to my current boost at redline. And will be getting a dyno done to overlay over my original runs to represent how much quicker the power comes on (hopefully).

Great numbers. Looking forward to seeing your progress with the wastegate setup. Just out of curiosity, what pulley size are you currently running?

Thanks! Wastegate is in the works, should be July 14th if I get my car back by then, as I hit a bit of a hurdle. Hit a large bump in the road at WOT mid-shift and it seems to have broke the trans and torque converter. Currently at the shop for repairs/upgrades. Will be upgrading the converter and building the trans.

Currently running a 4.75 pulley. Once I'm wastegated I believe I will be on a 3.8.

Meth Injection may also be in the plan, since im pushing the limit of 93 and there's no E85 in my state.

Ah shit man. That totally sucks! Hope you get it ship shape and back on the road soon.

Thanks for the pulley info. I'm on the 4.63 pulley with almost exactly the same mods as you but with the P1SC although i'm only pushing 9-10psi (I believe based on the stock/dash boost gauge) at sea level through a manual.

From what I've read I dont think the stock boost gauge in the dash is accurate. I would think youd be at a slightly higher psi than mine, depending on if you have cats and what you rev to.

Also thanks, me too. Missing my car so much right now lol.
