This is great! I don't plan to run E85, but I'll definitely look into keeping the stock airbox now. Thanks for sharing with us!

Disconnect tube from airbox, remove lid from box, rip out the carbon trap/filter.... that's it. I wouldn't touch anything else writhing the box. All those checkered squares within the lower box are there to reduce turbulence.

I didn't think removing that carbon trap would do anything? Guess I was wrong

That is a good run! That 1.5x 60 ft really helps with the et. Change that to the typical 2.1 to 2.5 like most "street" tires get and watch those times change to mid to high 12's.

Best mod here is the tires.

Yes, the tires (slicks) make a huge difference.

The car on 20" wheels on all 4 corners (drag radials out back) and 93 Octane went [email protected]

DA on those passes wasn't that great. 2000~ if I recall correctly

nice run what tire setup are you running? Also do you have half shafts? Any worries about them breaking?

Does the mishi intake tube definitely make more power over the air aid intake tube? I have the air aid one and wondering if I’m leaving any power on the table for the mishimoto

Chokes bad above 6,500RPM. Need a GT350 manifold!

Yes, the mishi tube in my testing absolutely made more power than the airraid tube...as did the stock tube. lol
