That's because the 4 cyl turbo has more power available on the low end where as the V8 is more on the upper end.

0-60mph times the Focus is actually faster. 0-100mph they have identical times. So it means that 60-100mph the mustang gets there faster. On a track with lots of turns and bends etc. the focus is a better performer.

they did a drag race which the mustang anhialated, even though as they proved in the america special on top gear when they put things like the LFA and viper against the evo's/subi's, awd is quicker than rwd as the grip gets to speed quicker, so the mustang has the legs there, it's just that their particular track is a lot of short runs with really only 1 decent straight, on the original TG track i'm pretty sure the stang would do well, as that was power track.

at the end of the day, its a big heavy bruiser, and i love the 0-80 traffic light race wins that i get.

But also my point is not just vs RS, look at the difference against M's and Boxster S... difference is more than 2 classes

considering the cheapest M2 is 107k so it should have taken 52 seconds. lol. well thats one way of looking at it. and the M5 should have taken 22 seconds.

sooooooo $/second time, the stang is 42% more worth it than the m2. and 78% more worth the M5

also, neither of those project a horse onto my feet.

The Mustang is still good value and I don't need to race it.....often.

I have a Porsche boxster S i think its the one on the list...it doesnt feel that much quicker than the mustang...its a freaking 6s+ difference!!!

I wasn't shocked the Stang was slower round their track. I was more shocked that the RS was slower than the Type R.... Most other reviews and comparisons have the RS out sprinting the Honda in every test!
