Just had car Sat Nav updated now also have Android Auto. Same as Apple carplay, works great, Google Maps, But how much data does Google Maps use ?
Also on the Sat Nav, can you see speed cameras? and I have noticed it does not tell you how many miles you have left on your journey?
But other then that, it has advantages over Tom Tom, as half the screen zooms in, it reads the road names and seems to have more direct routes and more Poi then TT.
Also got a new puddle light at the same time fitted.
The person who has the Lefty, and wants his Sync looked at, Richard is willing to look at it. But if you can't even get the phone to Sync could be a big job.
But you will get the latest update with Android Auto and the Radio now works as well as the Euro Sync3, reads out the song titles
So PM me if you want him to take a look
And for the RHD Owners, you should be able to get the update with Android Auto, I think with Apple Carplay you need a new USB port, so its hardware as well as software based. Of course trust Apple to make more money out of you. That's why I stayed with Android
