Car back at ford- wiper mount broke

So after having my car a couple days I noticed passenger side wiper arm flopping around. Drove to ford this am and found passenger side wiper motor mount was broken. Great, so they looked and the part is on back order with no eta. My service advisor states she has to wait 24 hrs before she can submit a formal complaint to ford. This is getting ridicules!! My car was just there for 8 days. My confidence is starting to get low and I'm wondering what else will break. Anyone else have a broken wiper mount?

Are you positive the part is defective? I am wondering if someone vandalized your car and broke the wiper on purpose ?

Ford states it was from their handling when removing evaporator as they had to remove the wiper assembly. If the car was vandalized it would have been on Fords property as that was the only opportunity (I can check the dash cam footage to be sure after I retook possession).

I was gonna say didnt you just have evap core replaced, its just a freak accident on this one, why im so scared of someone else doing the work, but its still warranty make it just like you like and have them note son the ticket failure due to core replacement! This will cover you in case you have to lemon law your car or anything else that could go out in the following weeks.
