So I decided to bolt on the Heartthrob H-Pipe and man what a difference.

It does all the things you'd expect from an H-Pipe but its a big change coming from a muffler delete. The old resonator is just straight through pipe with a section of perforations. No wonder you loose so much low end altering the exhaust while leaving on the stock resonator.

I definitely regained the low end. It's very very loud without mufflers but sounds amazing. I have a pair of GT axelbacks I plan on putting on as well to quiet it down. The drone did move up to 2500-3000 rpm which isn't bad.

I only have a quick cold start video for now. Overall I suggest the Heartthrob.

Nice mod, great sound! Does the factory resonator allow air flow between each side of the exhaust or are they isolated? I would think that it does vent to the other side but am not sure.

The resonator is perforated in a small section and I assume it does allow cross airflow.
I'll try to take a picture later.

Here is a warm start and idle.

Here's a simple drive around. I flipped it towards me so it actually sounds close with headphones.

I can't say if I feel a power gain or the return of lower range torque. I'm still working that out but the car feels much more torquey.

Totally!
I'm free this Saturday or Monday. I work Sunday.

Interior sounds pretty good as well.

Thanks for the invite, but working all weekend. Probably won't have a free weekend until the end of the September.

OP, what is your exhaust set up? Are you 2.25" or 2.5"? I see that the H-pipe is the 2.5". You mention that you "regained the low end". What happened for you to lose it?

Thanks for the details!
