Is there a hole for a submarine belt on those?
Yes a pass-thru slit is built-in from the factory... these are the current CF Lightweight Sport Buckets that are actually from the 918 Spyder but which is optional on the current GT cars (except GTS) and on the 911 R.

And after installing either a harness bar or a full roll cage then this is possible:

My contribution:

1. Am I the only one who washes his hands BEFORE getting into the car to prevent any oils from my hands from getting into the alcantara? I also try to touch only the leather bottom during light cruising (I had this same steering wheel on my GT 5.0 for 7 months, so it's not as bad as people think..)

2. Trying to accelerate on the highway: the literally LAUGHS at you!

3. The term "dip in the driveway" is a FOUR LETTER WORD!
Agree 6th gear acceleration is less than exciting! :headbonk:

Oh yeah for sure... 6th gear is sometimes an "ugh why did I even upshift to 6th" moment. Nowadays I don't ever go to 6th unless I'm easily cruising over 80mph.

Heck I wish I could transplant granny gear #6 into my EvoX's trans because that car is in dire need of a 6th gear. :headbonk:

If you can't get enough of the sounds now, you should get it done. Especially if you like the pops and burbles on deceleration+gas. I'd say with res, it's just about 25% of the potential. If there's a member near you that has done it, you should definitely try to hear it!
Sooooooooooo where are you located? Maybe your close by

I'm in Silicon valley. Hopefully someone in SoCal can chime in and give you a taste of heaven
I agree, I think there is a guy...I better check my inbox. :D
Question, does it now sound just like the R?

I reckon it should. Standard exhaust sizes are 2.5 and 3". I made sure to get 2.75" pipe to match oem exhaust size. X pipe is 2.5" itself, which is why many who deleted resonators opted to just use the 2.5" instead of going through the hassle and extra cost.

1. 84venom No you are not the only hand washer!
2. Quirky start up. Will it go this time?
3. Cruising the speed limit in Sport Mode and music off.
4. 2 - 3 times of getting out to check the splitter:curb ratio when I cannot back in.
5. Lookbacks as I walk away, sometimes a pic., too.
6. Backing into the garage half wondering where the passenger front fender/splitter is going.
7. THE smirk, when I discovered the crackle/pop throttle position.
8. Manual rev-match downshift.
9. OMG THESE BRAKES!
10. Flat outta turn 5 to the braking zone turn 7 @Sebring... but not quite brave enough to do it through Bishop's.

Aaaah, the blessed Bishop's Bend! The 350 is so fun at Sebring! :headbang:

Suuure you can go flat out... should be at least 100mph right when crossing that left rumble strip! Then WOT while keeping your hands steady... go bend it like Beckham to the left north of 110mph. :D

Oh.... go full flat out as well after turn 7 all the way to turn 10... and then after turn 10 all the way to the Tower turn. Don't ask me how I know but it can be done. :ninja:

Spotting people lower their windows to hear you drive by.

Most recent occurrence was at a large 4-way, across the way was a silver raptor, i could see him spot me at the light...window lowers...i oblige on the drive by...grins occur

Quirky start routine for street driving.
Step 1: ignition
Step 2: wait a second or two then engage Sport mode
Step 3: engage normal suspension mode
Step 4: call up gauge section to monitor numerical oil and coolant temp
Step 5: give it a minute or two to slightly warm the 10+ quarts of oil
Every single time. Except for the last step. As soon as I set the dampers to normal, I'm moving.

Not exclusive to the GT350/R, but . . .

Have any of you guys ever parked, got out, walked away, and NOT looked back at her?
I honestly don't think there's been a single time I haven't looked back.

Soft launching in 1st gear and then at around 6000rpm the rear tires suddenly break loose. If you haven't experienced it yet turn off traction control.

Last time I had something similar it was in a Grand a National but it started around 3000rpm.
This makes me love the Shelby so much more. The powerband reminds me of my TT Z. Just with everything turned up about 10 notches.

This happens all the time and I love it.

My contribution, not realizing the economy car next to you is trying to race until you're about to shift into 3rd. Then you look over and they're laughing their ass off trying to keep up knowing full well they can't hang but they just wanna have some fun.

Leaving work and coming home to a bunch of messages from different coworkers about how my GT350 was shooting flames out the exhaust as I exited lol
