Thought it would be fun to start a thread related to all those little quirks with the GT350/R. I'll start with 2 of them....

1. One-wiper car washes.
2. Upon start-up, listening to the exhaust try to decide what mode it's in!

List some of your favorite quirks......

1. Slow boot time for AC to start on a 100 degree day.
2. Tight fit into a single garage door opening because how wide she is, stresses me out.

Hows about having your doors blown off by and GT that cost half the price... as it goes buy you hear the whining of a Whipple SC, and knowing that your 550 ponys are no match for the nearly 700 under the GTs hood....

sorry couldnt resist.

How about driving your gt350 to the track , doing 200+ laps in 2 days, driving home with a smile , and be covered under warranty the whole time.

Sorry couldn't resist!

Temperamental cold starts, causing stalling... Love the character of this car.

Having a basically perfectly balanced car in terms of price, performance, looks and sound and getting it direct from the factory.

I'll tint my windows and add stripes. But ultimately, I think this car is basically perfect.

On an aside, I just got back from cars and coffee in my area. At least 100 sick cars and the GT350 got tons of attention.

Lol, however, it was mostly people asking me if it was an R.

Getting in and out of it is my biggest beef. I'm not fat but it's still an awkward maneuver. LOL Also, I can't tell how close to a curb I am in this car. I ALMOST curbed a rear rim the other day. I was so close the tire was RIGHT against the curb. :eyebulge:

Or when it comes time for resale and you realize that the money you invested you can't Gary back out, even worse it depreciates your car more because people think you beat on it!

What do you mean by "One-wiper car washes." ?
Why is this?
I think he means that the drivers wiper tip hits the hood if you try and lift it. I found the tip is flexible enough to get past the hood ;)

Lol.

I usually check all the entrances and exits to plazas to see if my car can make it up and back out. Sometimes if I can't do that for one reason or another, I get the biggest angle I can, and pray to baby jesus.

Quirky start routine for street driving.
Step 1: ignition
Step 2: wait a second or two then engage Sport mode
Step 3: engage normal suspension mode
Step 4: call up gauge section to monitor numerical oil and coolant temp
Step 5: give it a minute or two to slightly warm the 10+ quarts of oil
