While the new Shelby GT350 Mustang will not be available until late 2015, Ford is already hard at work readying production by running prototype GT350 Mustangs down the line at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant.
These photos show the first near-production-spec GT350 Mustangs rolling out of the S550 Mustang assembly line. Or could it be the GT350R Mustang, as distinguished by its signature red brake calipers? All questions that remain unanswered at the moment. Nevertheless, this represents our first glimpse at the GT350 Mustang in Race Red and Deep Impact Blue.
Look out for these prototypes to be out testing on the streets of Dearborn and shown off at upcoming auto shows.
