It was just a matter of time that we would see the first 9-second 2020 Shelby GT500 and the honors go to Evolution Performance in collaboration with Lund Racing and Kong Performance.
The 9.939 ET @ 140.43 MPH quarter-mile pass, launched at max stock 3200RPM, makes this Evolution Performance-built GT500 the first GT500 in the 9s. The vehicle was tuned by Lund Racing (ID1050x tuned on E85), with a Kong Performance ported supercharger, 2.65 pulley, race pipes, stock 20-inch wheels on Mickey Thompson SS drag radials.
