One of the upgrades touted by the media for the updated 2020 GT350R was that it shared the GT500’s steering knuckle. Steering knuckles are where the suspension and steering systems and the front wheels converge. They provide the attachment points for the upper and lower control arms or struts and lower arms, the tie-rod ends, and the spindle and/or hubs to which the wheels are mounted.
An M6G member happened to have access to all S550 steering knuckle variations and shows us how they compare, as well as answering the question of whether the 2020 GT350R really shares a steering knuckle with the GT500.
