Here is an exclusive look at the new Barton Industries 2015 Mustang GT short throw shifter.
Machined out of 6061 T6 Billet Aluminum and 303 Stainless Steel, the shifter features a unique cartridge design that allows the user to change throw reductions, spring pressure and the look of the shifter in a matter of minutes by simply replacing the cartridge.
Barton is first releasing the shifter with the normal body style mount with a choice of throw reduction of 25%, 20% or 15% from the stock throw.
The main features of the shifter include:
- Fits 2015 Mustang GT
- Re-use factory shift knob
- Quiet with NO increase in NVH
- Choice of Throw Reduction (25, 20, 15%)
- Maintains factory pull up style reverse lockout and backup camera
- Unique Cartridge Design- allows change of throw reduction and appearance in minutes (future designs will offer push down style reverse lockout)
- Stiff centering springs can easily be adjusted to your preference
- Machined from 303 Stainless Steel and 6061T6 Billet Aluminum
- Comes complete with all hardware, and sound insulation
