Barton Industries has just released its Hybrid 3 shifter for the 2015-present Mustang, featuring an all-new design that can be mounted either directly to the transmission or to the body.
This hybrid aspect of the new Barton short shifter reflects the dual mounting options to fit your shifting needs and is made possible by its unique linkage design which allows it to be installed as a solid linkage with the transmission mount or alternatively, to pivot with the body mount.
The adjustable side-to-side spring pressure provides for smooth and confident shifts with the 3 bushing system allowing for exceptional accuracy in shifting.
With a 25% throw reduction and increased side-to-side distance between gears, Barton’s latest product provides for smooth and forgiving short shifts with little to no increase in noise.
2015-17 Mustang owners can also choose between the reverse pull-up collar or the push down reverse implementation.
